Supporting the people of Hastings and Rother

 

We're seeking a Financial Capability Adviser to deliver advice across Hastings and Rother, helping people address the financial challenges they're facing.

You'll join a team of highly skilled advisers delivering advice sessions to both individuals and groups, engaging them on topics covering debt prevention, money management, and energy advice. You'll help them develop skills such as budgeting, using bank accounts, and assist with benefits checks to help maximise their income.

In this role you will:

• Use sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients.
• Continue learning and gaining experience every day;
• Work with a range of different people, independently and in a team;
• Make a real difference in people’s quality of life and have a positive impact in your community.

This is an opportunity for someone with previous experience working in a similar Citizens Advice or equivalent advice role, proven through recent employment or volunteer roles. Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate to enable them to carry out their role.

The role will include outreach work and applicants will need to hold a full driver’s license and own or have access to a vehicle.
