Dear all,
With the Prime Minister’s announcement on public health behaviour on Monday 16th March 2020 to minimise the risk of spreading the Coronavirus, Citizens Advice 1066 has made the following decisions on how we provide services effectively and safely in the Hastings area:
From Tuesday 17th March, we followed Government health guidance, and ceased our face-to-face drop-in service.
However, we remain completely open and accessible. During this temporary period, we will provide a telephone/webchat/email and postal advice service.
Our local call and ring back Advice Line can be accessed at 01424 869352. We aim to respond to enquiries within 48 hours.
Webchat can be accessed here
You can contact us by email at https://www.citizensadvice1066.co.uk/
You can also ring the national CA Adviceline on 03444 111 444. Local callers are put through to their local Citizens Advice as far as staff availability allows.
Postal advice can be given by writing to: Citizens Advice 1066, The Magnet Centre, Alfred Street, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex TN37 6GL.
Please also see the national Citizens Advice website www.citizensadvice.org.uk. For vital information on consumer and employee rights, visit this page and to get the latest CA info on Coronavirus visit this page which has the latest information. Both pages are updated regularly.
We are working closely with other organisations and our volunteers to provide more practical help and assistance to our local community during these difficult times.
Please look after yourself and each other.
Kind regards
Tracy Dighton
Chief Executive Officer
